Following specific requests from GSE customers, and several feasibility studies which convinced INOX-TECH management that there was a serious lack of innovation and technical advancement within that industry, INOX-TECH made a full commitment to the production of a top line of Ground Support Equipment. In 1997 it incorporated a new company ACCESSAIR Systems Inc., built a new factory adjacent to existing facilities, hired experienced technical and management staff with over 50 years of combined experience in the field and entered directly into the field of manufacturing GSE equipment. The management team already in place at INOX-TECH headed up and are still in charge of overseeing the long-term and day- to-day activities of ACCESSAIR Systems.

As part of its product portfolio ACCESSAIR Systems also introduced the new SKYWALKER line of telescopic bridges and fixed walkways to respond to the growing need for ground-level boarding bridges to service regional aircraft. The move to manufacturing boarding bridges and GSE was a natural transition for INOX-TECH because of its 14-year experience as a custom designer and manufacturer of stainless steel equipment and process systems. As a result of its close relationship with INOX-TECH, ACCESSAIR Systems was able to respond immediately to customer demands for innovative products, after-sales service and strict quality control procedures.
